i have never felt so calm before :)
hahaha this is the point of my life which i decide to change myself for the greater good.
yes it started out bad but once i found my inner peace, everything went spectacular.
reading helps to calm my mind.
eases my soul. its nice when its all quiet just me and the book. no one else in the room.
just the sound of the fans and the air con. :) hahaha i am way more calm and way better than how i was before. Alhamdulilah.
Now all i am thinking about is my PMR. and next year i wish to move out of this forsaken town. i would be delighted if i was given the chance to.
Ms Charlene talked to me about someone.
i said she can't stand the people here
and Ms Charlene said "Only now she realize how the people here are?" HAHA i laughed hearing this from her. Another person who agrees with me. sweet. I don't understand why many people hate her, shes a nice person if shes not in her teacher mode.

I am gaining a deep interest in literature.
I want to expand my vocabulary and increase my general knowledge.
My dad always told me, "Zaim, you will never gain anything from playing games and wasting your time, you have to spend your time wisely, read book STUDY. Without education life is meaningless. its the books that bring you too college not your games. Read books." He told me that everyday, Read Study Study. My parents always told me to live by this saying, "Knowledge is power." A war is won not through fire power, instead of vital intel pieces that win a war.
I currently have 5books from my dad waiting for me to jump into and enjoy. I am currently reading this book by John C. Maxwell, Talent is Never Enough. I have learned much from it, and i still have quite a long way to go before i finish it. If you are interested in good literature or just want a good read or need a good motivation book, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to get it. trust me you won't get disappointed.

So yeah thats about it :)

Why I Can't Stand "True" Metallica Fans
I have reasons for this, and they are as follows;

1) If you consider yourself a "true" Metallica fan, most likely you will feel some kind of pride in knowing their history/all their albums/etc. like it has actually benefitted your life in some way. You will argue till the death about how you are a "true" fan and anyone who either recently discovered them, or only likes them for their more recent albums is nothing but a joke. But in all actuality, any Metallica fan who will do any of this is nothing but a joke themselves. They must feel like they hold some kind of power over the rest of the fans since they started listening to them in the 80's. Well I happen to be a fan from the 80's too, but anyone who picks up there music and it enjoys it, whether today or tomorrow, is no less of a fan than me. I'm a man not a child, Metallica grew up so why can't you?

2)So many Metallica fans are nothing but whiners. Goddamn, get over the fact that Metallica had cut their hair and changed up their sound. I still hear people talking about it like it's relevant to anything that Metallica is. Look, they changed their sound drastically after ...and Justice for All, I get that, but no matter the change their music never suffered. Grow the fuck up and open your ears. Load and ReLoad were 2 solid albums, end of story. All the little whiners will do nothing but whine about how those albums sucked, but any "true" Metallica fan will take time to appreciate them since they came from the band which they hold so dear. If it's one thing Metallica has it's an army of hypocrites for a following. "I love Metallica, but I hate half their albums" or "older Metallica is better"...Give me a break. A "true" fan would love all their material no matter what. thats what being a loyal fan is about. keep loyal to your band.

3) Death Magnetic is nothing but greatness. Stop comparing their latest releases to older meterial. What are you stuck in a damn time warp? Their sound on Death Magnetic is more modern, it fits with today...same as their first 4 albums had a feel that fit that decade. And just to throw it out there, St.Anger may have been a little misstep for them but it was still better than most of the other albums released in '03. I am also irritated when people say "Enough with the wah already kirk." OK kirk without wah is like spahgetti and meatballs, liquid nitrogen with a little spark. because his signature style IS the wah wah. Imagine Hendrix without his ACID. thats how kirk is without his WAH.

4)They will always claim Metallica are sellouts. But then they will go listen to Megadeth or Slayer and say "well I'm glad these guys stayed true"...news flash, Slayer and Megadeth have sold out too...years ago!! oh no, i can't believe it!!! In all actuality, most bands do. even some of the more extreme metal acts will at times sneak into the mainstream way of things. When it comes down to it, money is survival. That band you label sellout is also a job to the members involved in it. If they want to make more money at their job then why should they be held back from it? If you label them sellouts then any job you hold better than McDonalds should bring the same label onto yourself. You want/need more money but you'll criticise someone else for wanting the same...typical "fan"

5)STOP COMPARING THEM WITH MEGADETH. Megadeth and Metallica are TWO seperate totally DIFFERENT bands! why would you want to compare them? Stop comparing Kirk and Mustaine! Whenever i post a comment on Youtube. Saying Kirk is God etc etc, some guy would say hey you fucking dipshit gay ass piece of fuck, Mustaine is WAYYyyYYy Better than kirk! TRUE he may wrote Kill em All and 2 Ride the Lightning songs(Ride The Lightning and Ktulu) but stop for a second and appreciate BOTH guitarists! each has their flaws.

well those are just reasons why I can't stand alot of Metallica fans. I'm sure I'll see someone banging away on their keyboard and sending me a childish response saying how i'm wrong, i'm this, i'm that...i mean there are "true" Metallica fans that will read this so it's pretty much a guarantee to see someone whine about what i said

as the countdown for PMR goes down to 2digits now. and will go down to 98days in 8minutes
pressure starts to amend, my adrenaline hormones are increased, my brain craves for more knowledge, i realize a sudden increase of interest in books and school and studies these days. i have been reading many books and not those kiddy novel fun stuff but books i got from my dad.
while each day i wake up, this pressure increases. but it doesn't feel stressful, strange to say it feels nice.
and yet i still can't understand why, WHY is my class still as noisy as it was on the 1st day of school? why is no one acting pressured? why is everyone still laughing? playing games on their hand phones? some of you may say they do not wish to be pressured, but really my mum told me, pressure is good when you apply it on just nice. not too hard and not too soft. but i see no apparent pressure on some of my classmates. you may insult me on being a hypocrite but if you are from my class and reading this, ever stop just a moment in class, why everyone is in their happy place talking and laughing, and when you keep quiet you can barely hear yourself think? it is that noisy. its hard to listen to the teacher when half the class is shouting and yelling. trust me. i don't blame anyone. each person has their choices to make. some may choose to keep quite other may choose to have fun. but WOW is it very noisy. i just don't get it.

though i never revealed my love for him.
i always kept a special place for the King.

a legend which fell and was about to rise.

i personally blame the media for all your hardships.

i remember. growing up. my mum buying a Michael Jackson tape.
i was young and understood nothing of music and my english was not advanced enough to pick up lyrical meanings and words
but when my mum popped in his tape. and the first tune i can still remember that came out was Thriller. and my young mind processed the sound into my brain and for the first time. i was bobbing my head. to music. it may sound a little over exaggerated or dramatic. but his music was the first artist which made me dive into music. to explore it and finally get involved in it.
i will never forget the feeling of the first time i heard thriller. how much i loved it. looking at his pictures. amazed on how much talent is found in him. then when grew older discovered youtube. and searched his videos how mesmerized i was when i saw his dance moves. never knowing the human body could do such acts. he is loved by many. maybe hated by some. but no one can deny that he IS a true legend of music and the true meaning of talent and passion in music. he made pop music good. he is the golden age of pop. unlike how mainstream music and artists like Britney Spears and Lady Gaga has raped the great genre which Michael Jackson took and turned into gold. Keeping ass shit music of the 21st century aside, Michael Jackson will always be remembered in our hearts. no matter 2 years have passed, 4 or 6 years. he will still be remembered. his songs played on radio, his videos being played over and over again in television. his songs being repeated everywhere around the world in everyone's computers, ipods etc. Michael Jackson. you are a true legend and a true musician which only comes once in a lifetime. no one can ever pull off the greatness of your musical career. only you could. for you are not only the King of Pop but the King of Music

today i fixed my guitar :D after a week or so of the Estring broke(?) or snapped i guess. ahaha and i feel good. my fingers feel awesome. and finally i can learn another song :D hahaha let me tell you metallica songs hurt to play. i am an ametuer ok? don't blame me -_- hahaha its loads of fun to jam to metallica :)

i'm planning to get a washburn nuno bettencourt n-40. its surprisingly cheap its only 990 :) and trust me washburn is NOT a cheap brand. its an all american brand which is awesome. people like Anthrax use it etc. so yeah. i want an esp but i can't find one in kuching. i have to go to kl :\ and i know how shitty MAS is when it comes to luggage care. i don't blame the whole cooperation but SOME of the workers are shit. really. hahaha one of my luggage bags broke last time. yeah. haha enough of that. an average esp is at least 1k. well i think. haha the model i want, i heard, to be 4k and thats just standard pick ups. no seymour duncan or kirk hammett custom pick up. hahaha

and my mum said i could get anything i wish for if i get 8A's :) motivation!

WELL tonight i went out with dad. me and him, and watched Terminator Salvation. haha

it was awesome. not to say like OMG LIKE IT WAS SO GOOD I HAD AN ORGASM WATCHING IT. its like yeah its ok hahah i am very stupid. the t-600 was cool. the story line reminded me A LOT of Resistance the game. haha seriously. well not so but quite a lot. if they made a movie based on the game. they should really cast Christian Bale as Cole. hahaha Christian Bale was not that good in the dark knight. i prefer him in this movie. it was tons better. hahaha the ending was inspiring. but i don't want to spoil anything if you happen to not see it hahaha. well now i wish they made a movie based on Resistance the game :( that would be really awesome! haha chimerans :)

you know. trust is extremely hard to find. yes you can trust some people. but its the pure honest trust you'd get once or twice in a lifetime that's part impossible to find. i just can't seem to find anyone to trust anymore. and yeah i keep blogging everyday now because as i said its hard to find someone to trust. i have had my personal share of betrayals and treachery that left me traumatized. it really is hard to find trust. i can't project my feelings and thoughts to anyone. as i know this blog is set too public people have to begin to "suspect" things. well those things aren't true. don't always believe what you read. i have this book my dad bough The Trouble With Islam Today. as i said i wish to improve my English greatly i shall look into my dads personal library of books and just read. if it happens that the H1N1 case is confirmed I'll be quarantined for 2weeks and i wish to spend that time reading and improving my studies. well if that happens at least. but I'll just read just for the hell of it. it looks like a good read though. hahaha well yeah :) keeping away from that, the world as i see today is really just messed. Iranians are having protests, H1N1 is spreading at a alerting rate unsurprisingly, war, murder, rape, scandals and corruptions just to mention a few problems are what we are exposing to kids these days. my mom told me this story of a 7year old kid, related to me in some weird way telling his little brother and i Quote - "Adek jom ambil pisau, kita bunuh nenek. Sebab nya selalu marah kita" which directly translates to, "Hey bro lets take a knife and kill grandma because she always scolds us". see how things are affecting children these days? i personally do not blame the movies we are airing in our tv stations only, but also the news. the news that kids read some are just not for them to take in at that age. yes parents will argue, kids need information to survive, its general knowloedge etc... well you see some kids are getting it the wrong way. i am not blaming anyone as i am still 15years old and does not have the rights to voice up or comment about things as i still quite have a long way to go. but really think, if kids are watching the 6pm news, alone, and they show air the news, A girl was raped bla bla bla and kids would think wow that is cool. and the story just keeps on going. you are know saying that i am an idiot on ranting on something that doesn't mean shit. but in my school i have seen lots of small children's minds corrupted by our entertainment market and just scarred at a young age. call me stupid but its just a fruit for thought :)

hello. i slept
and awoke from my sleep with an questionable feeling of anxiety and feelings of urgency.
for god knows why i felt like that. i woke up my heart was beating very fast, my head was fucked and i can't even stand up. god knows why i felt so. well yeah :\ i feel unhealthy and i need to do something. hang with friends. question is WHO? hahahaha only friends i've been out always is with atul's gang. they are all currently studying out of town :( now i have no one to go out with
don't ask about my school life. its fucked. i have a bad headache. and my spirit is totally down. I'm so very down right now. i need something to cheer me up. sadly, nothing could. i know some people reading this would react "apa jak lah, gk sa" and etc etc but you just don't know the start on how i am feeling. :\ well yeah. if you are experiencing what i am you'd be doing the same exact thing. its 9.30 she hasn't reply my email. my hopes are fucking down and my faith has gone flying out the window. as life is fucked. nothing can actually fix this :| i should just back off and stay away because it will get ugly as Atul adviced me. well lets see how she replies :(

well i had to be born where 2genocides has taken place. a war is erupting. where people are all corrupted by the minds of politicians and by money. the time when the most innocent of souls could be turned into the heartless of minds. today peace is as meaningless as love. love is dying at times like today. fights, deaths, rape, murders are an everyday thing. a bomb erupted in a mosque no one would be surprised. children are getting raped, being sold as sex slaves, being tortured, misused, their innocent faces broken, beat and scarred.

you know, you can see in the community today that quite a number of teenagers are OBSESSED with mobile phones! some aren't obsessed but quite a lot

i haven't touched it since this afternoon

i've been ranting about my feelings and thoughts reading them over and over, without looking at the bright side.
imagine your in a pitch black cave 10miles underground. is there a bright side to that? me don't think so. how retarded are times today. some lives are made for a purpose. well i wish to know what is mine. what is the sole purpose of my existence? people are made for something, well i don't know who quoted this but he or she said, a person is made for nothing, its what the person does that makes something. if that makes sense? well if that is true i guess i have to make something out of well nothing.
i feel so shit that there really is no one to output my thoughts too. well the present is shaped by the past. my past wasn't so great. call me sad, pathetic, stupid give me all the insults you have. you just would not understand the feeling which i kept inside of me. i wished for many things but what i truly wish for is just for some human company, so i'd feel at least a little bit of love. but god denied it. whether it was an act of karma or it was just my plain old unfortunate luck.
this has been my 4th i think post about this and i just can't seem to get over it.
as the saying goes, when life gives you lemons, make lemonades,
my rants and thoughts have been quite dull.

what annoys me, over rated pop shit.
first of all pop. its a money based genre of music

stupid gay faced people like david archuleta is receiving money for making a song i can't recall the title when a good band metal band is struggling to get publicity but people are just to brainwashed by pop. i can give you a thousand pop albums all about love or women. really can't they right about something more sensible that idiotic love. life is more to love. love is just a tool. really pop is over rated and every song is about love depression or sadness really is music losing its touch? another reason all they do is sing, they don't make their own music the producer does everything and they just sing out. they could'nt play guitar eventhough their lives depended on it. pop is a disgusting piece of shit between rap and r&b. music in my term is sabbath, maiden, metallica and skid row. music are those who redefined the world with what they do. and believe me i only hate pop from the modern times. the 21st century pop. pop from the 80s are good. but today is just circulating over money and over fame. music lost its touch and the passion is gone. really. pop is idiotic in many terms on itself and doesnt need any explaination from me. and malaysians, not all, but maybe most are all brainwashed by this thing you call music that you call good. believe me this isnt good it is bullshit.

Speaking from the tongue of an experienced simpleton who obviously would rather be an emasculated, infantile complain-ee. This note should be pretty easy to understand.

All the warnings from the punk rock 101 courses over the years, since my first introduction to the, shall we say, ethics involved with independence and the embracement of your community has proven to be very true. I haven't felt the excitement of listening to as well as creating music along with reading and writing for too many years now. I feel guilty beyond words about these things.

For example when we're back stage and the lights go out and the manic roar of the crowds begins., it doesn't affect me the way in which it did for Freddie Mercury, who seemed to love, relish in the the love and adoration from the crowd which is something I totally admire and envy. The fact is, I can't fool you, any one of you. It simply isn't fair to you or me. The worst crime I can think of would be to rip people off by faking it and pretending as if I'm having 100% fun. Sometimes I feel as if I should have a punch-in time clock before I walk out on stage. I've tried everything within my power to appreciate it (and I do,God, believe me I do, but it's not enough). I appreciate the fact that I and we have affected and entertained a lot of people. It must be one of those narcissists who only appreciate things when they're gone. I'm too sensitive. I need to be slightly numb in order to regain the enthusiasms I once had as a child.

On our last 3 tours, I've had a much better appreciation for all the people I've known personally, and as fans of our music, but I still can't get over the frustration, the guilt and empathy I have for everyone. There's good in all of us and I think I simply love people too much, so much that it makes me feel too fucking sad. The sad little, sensitive, unappreciative, Pisces, Jesus man. Why don't you just enjoy it? I don't know!

I have a goddess of a wife who sweats ambition and empathy and a daughter who reminds me too much of what i used to be, full of love and joy, kissing every person she meets because everyone is good and will do her no harm. And that terrifies me to the point to where I can barely function. I can't stand the thought of Frances becoming the miserable, self-destructive, death rocker that I've become.

I have it good, very good, and I'm grateful, but since the age of seven, I've become hateful towards all humans in general. Only because it seems so easy for people to get along that have empathy. Only because I love and feel sorry for people too much I guess.

Thank you all from the pit of my burning, nauseous stomach for your letters and concern during the past years. I'm too much of an erratic, moody baby! I don't have the passion anymore, and so remember, it's better to burn out than to fade away.

CONGRATS TO METALLICA AND BLACK TIDE

If youʼre like most guitarists, chances are you read Guitar World magazine on a regular basis. And if you read GW, you know that every year they poll the readers of the magazine to get their opinion on who tops the cream of the crop in guitar slingers.

In their April 2009 issue, the magazine posted the results of the 2008 Readerʼs Poll, and weʼre happy to say that ESP artists got the recognition they deserve. Check it out: the 2008 “Most Valuable Players” award was given to James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett. This award is for the best guitar duo in a band, and the Metallica guys (both long-time ESP users) took the top spot over the tandem guitarists in Testament, AC/DC, Slipknot, and Judas Priest. Nicely done, Metallica. You guys might make it big someday.

One thing that you may think of when you hear “ESP” is “metal”. And when you think of “metal”, you might also think of “Alexi Laiho”. Apparently, so do the readers of Guitar World, since Alexi was voted the “Best Metal Guitarist” in the Readerʼs Poll! Thatʼs right; our friend from Children of Bodom is #1, with Kirk Hammett taking the #2 spot in the poll. Between the two of them, nearly 70% of the Guitar World readers feel that ESP players are the best metal guitarists in the universe. We tend to agree with them.

In the “Best New Talent” category, there was some strong competition from a bunch of hot new up-and-coming bands, but no one really came close to Black Tide, who blew out everyone with 43% of the votes for #1 (second place had 19%). Black Tideʼs guitarist is a young man named Austin Diaz, who proudly plays ESP. If you havenʼt heard of Austin yet, itʼs only a matter of time. We feel heʼs one of the best young rock guitarists since... well, ever.

Congratulations to all the members of the ESP family who were recognized by the readers of Guitar World. Also, congratulations to the Guitar World readers for having such great taste in music! And congratulations to us, ESP, for basically ruling. Yeah. Itʼs been proven. We rule.

ESP Congratulates Metallica for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction

Itʼs a long road between starting your band and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. First, you donʼt even become eligible until 25 years after your first album comes out. Second, you need to be recognized as having had an “influence and significance to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll.” Only a handful of artists make the cut each year, and their worthiness is measured by comparison to the artists who came before them, like Chuck Berry, Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, and many others.

In other words, being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is about as big an honor as any rock musician can hope for. Itʼs no surprise that the 2009 induction ceremony, held on April 4, was led by the band that helped define the metal genre: Metallica. The entire band, including current members James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich, and Robert Trujillo, as well as fomer bassists Jason Newsted and the late Cliff Burton, all received the honor of induction.

ESP President Matt Masciandaro said about the induction, “It was 1987 when Kirk Hammett started working with ESP on his first custom guitar, followed soon after byJames Hetfield. Today, Metallica continues to be a huge influence on all musicians who want to play Metal. We congratulate them on being recognized for an incredible career.”

As ESP fans, we hardly have to tell you the story of what made Metallica great. Starting in the underground community in 1981, the band started gaining a strong following from the very beginning, with their first two albums (Kill ʻEm All and Ride the Lightning, released in 1983 and 1984 respectively). Their big breakthrough from a standpoint of worldwide popularity was the 1986 release of Master of Puppets, which went on to become one of the most influential albums ever in the heavy rock genre. In 1991, Metallicaʼs mainstream success became undeniable when their self-titled (“black”) album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Metallica has continued to reign as one of the most influential bands in metal, and have the respect of nearly every rock musician whoʼs come along since. Unlike many Rock Hall inductees, Metallica has continued to maintain their popularity throughout their long career; their latest album Death Magnetic was one of the best-selling albums in recent months.

For more than 20 years, Metallicaʼs guitar tandem of James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett have been using ESP Guitars on albums and on tour.
